FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Community Update on Temporary Building Closure

Gravelbourg, SK | October 7th, 2026

Gravelbourg Bon Ami, Inc. would like to provide a further update to our community regarding the temporary closure of our building at 405 1st Avenue East, Gravelbourg.

We are pleased to share that remediation work is now underway, and we are making progress towards getting our building back up and running. The work is being completed in stages, with air quality testing and any necessary repairs and reconstruction taking place as the project moves forward.

While there is still work to be completed and we do not yet have a confirmed date for fully reopening the building, we are encouraged to see things moving in the right direction. Our goal remains to get our services and operations back in place as soon as it is safe to do so.

Throughout the process, we have been incredibly grateful for the support we have received from our community.

We would like to once again thank the Parish Hall for welcoming our Day Program and providing a space where our participants have been able to continue their programming, support and connection without interruption.

We also want to thank SARCAN for their continued partnership as we work through this remediation and temporary operating arrangements. We know this situation has affected their operations as well, and we appreciate their patience and support as we work towards getting the building back to normal.

Most importantly, thank you to our community. We have received so much patience, understanding and encouragement through this unexpected situation. We know this closure has been disruptive, and we truly appreciate everyone who has continued to support Bon Ami and SARCAN while we work through the process.

We will continue to keep the community informed as the work progresses and we have more information to share.

Thank you for standing with us, Gravelbourg. We are looking forward to the day we can welcome everyone back through our doors.
